The two's love arc is currently not in good terms in the ongoing season as they made a choice to stay away from each other for safety. The Arrow's mission in the episode is to stop Amy Gumenick's Carrie Cutter (a.k.a. Cupid), an obsessed psycho fan of him. In Starling City, Felicity has a history with Oliver Queen/Arrow (played by Stephen Amell). Oliver even asked her out in the first episode of the new season. In Arrow Season 3, it is not just that Oliver who has his eyes on Felicity, even newcomer Roy Palmer (Brandon Routh). In fact, in the next episode, she and Roy are going to share their first kiss.
