Arrow is currently on a hiatus and will return on TV on January 21. While you have heard a lot about how Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will return from the dead or about that 'trilogy' episode to introduce Katie Cassidy's Black Canary, there are no Arrow Season 3 spoilers regarding the new guy that some expected to stir things up between Thea Queen (Willa Holland) and Roy Harper (Colton Haynes).
In one episode of the third season, Oliver's sister has taken over their bar and she was having trouble hyping up the crowd because of the music choice of the current DJ. A mysterious guy, played by Austin Butler, showed up and went straight to the DJ's corner and next thing the bar goes knew, they were dancing. Butler's character did great with the vinyl and all and as a reward, he got the attention of Thea. That was the last time people saw him though. Now, fans are asking, will they see the DJ again in next Arrow Season 3 episodes?
Well, he is not there for just one appearance. In fact, there is more to him than what you see. According to an Arrow Season 3 spoiler from TV Line, Mr. DJ will appear in more episodes and that will include run in with ruthless Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).
"We haven't seen the last of Thea's DJ-boytoy, played by Austin Butler. "Like a lot of our characters, there's maybe a little bit more to him than meets the eye," exec producer Greg Berlanti teases. And will her papa Malcolm Merlyn have a take on the new guy in his daughter's life? Says Berlanti with a laugh: "It would be surprising if he didn't," TV Line's Michael Ausiello wrote when a fan asked for an Arrow Season 3 spoiler.
Butler isn't the only one returning in the show. According to an obvious Arrow Season 3 spoiler from Stephen Amell's Facebook page, Colin Donnell's Tom Merlyn, the bestfriend of Oliver and son of Malcolm who died in the first season, is set to reappear. It could be in a flashback as leaked photos saw him in what appears to be five years ago.
