Jordan Brand is set to make noise once again as four colorways of the new Jordan Super.Fly 3 is scheduled to hit the sneaker market - four excellent-looking kicks that are expected to make Air Jordan release dates 2014 headlines.
Almost a month before the 2014-15 NBA season kicks off, Jordan Brand will release the Jordan Super.Fly 3 on Wednesday, October 1, in selected stores worldwide in four colorways.
The new performance sneaker will come out in Fusion Pink/Tropical Teal-Electric Orange-Black, Fusion Pink/Volt-Deep Garnet, Black/White-Anthracite-Dark Grey and Wolf Grey/White-Cool Grey colorways.
According to an Air Jordan release dates 2014 statement, this new sneaker will be another performance basketball powerhouse as it was made to provide a shoe with optimal performance capabilities. Los Angeles Clippers superstar Blake Griffin was the model in creating this sneaker.
"A team of designers, working with Blake Griffin as muse, created a game-tested design to ensure optimal performance capabilities powered by flight. With Griffin's high-flying game being the inspiration to the design, the goal was to create a shoe that helps him jump even higher, with greater explosiveness," Nike noted.
The new Jordan Super.Fly 3 also features the Flight Plate technology combined with the power of the famed Nike Zoom Air unit for superb explosiveness.
The outsole was also inspired by the pattern used on the Air Jordan XX9, which makes its suitable for use on any surface along with synthetic overlays, while also sporting Jordan Brand's Flight Web fit system.
"The shoe also features the Flight Web fit system, which creates a stabilizing lockdown and adds support during powerful cuts and jumps. The webbed straps wrap around the foot and integrate the laces for fit throughout the midfoot. A sock-like inner sleeve and padded Achilles notch on the upper delivers a comfortable all-over fit," Nike noted in the Air Jordan release date 2014 statement.
Griffin, who is expected to wear the shoe when the Clippers make their season debut, had nothing but praises for the new sneaker created by Jordan Brand.
"For the Jordan Super.Fly 3, I really wanted a shoe that allowed me to gain an explosive edge on court - with speed and my lift," Griffin said via SneakerNews. "I really like that Flight Plate not only makes me feel more powerful throughout the game, but also gives me confidence when I'm taking flight."
The four Jordan Super.Fly 3 sneakers will be available for $140 per pair and will also be released in kids sizing. More photos of the four colorways of the Jordan Super.Fly 3 are avaialble here.
