Dunkin' Donuts is looking for franchisees in Flint, Lansing and Traverse City.
The brand has more than 60 operating stores in Michigan and 40 more are in the works. They're currently continuing to recruit possible franchise candidates, especially in the three mentioned cities.
As one of America's largest doughnut and coffee chain, Dunkin' Donut's long-term goal is to establish 15,000 restaurants just in the United States alone. It's part of their strategic expansion in neighboring markets. In Michigan, there are special development incentives available. These include reduced royalty fees for four years, and franchisees are rewarded up to $10,000 in marketing for local stores if they reach specified goals.
Grant Brenson, vice president of the global franchising and business development of Dunkin' Brands, said that they're looking for "qualified candidates with foodservice, operations and real estate experience to join our team and grow the brand in Flint, Lansing and Traverse City."
"By joining our team, franchisees become part of a nationally established brand that has been in existence for over 60 years, has 95 percent brand recognition in the U.S., a multi-million dollar national advertising fund, world-class training and ongoing support, among many other benefits," said Brenson.
Dunkin' Donuts offers four restaurant design options for franchisees that vary in color schemes, layout, textures, graphics, lighting and furniture. They are different from other quick service restaurants since franchisees can pick their own design concept from the four options.
