Ed Boon the creator of Mortal Kombat X has just tweeted earlier this week a picture that shows the feet of six characters who will appear in the upcoming game. One of the thumbnails has been identified as belonging to Quan Chi.
The recent tweet said that, "Looks like one of the boots that were made for walkin 'was Quan Chi's #MKX."
This is one of the most interesting characters in Mortal Kombat X. He rides on a demonic goat. Quan Chi has three fighting styles that players can choose from.
The first one is the Sorcerer Style. In this mode, Quan Chi can cast spells that will take up certain areas or even amplify your strength.
In Warlock mode, Quan Chi can open dark portals. It is in this mode that you can create combos of powerful attacks and unique moves. The last and final style is the Summoner mode. As the name implies you can summon a beast, namely a demonic goat to help you defeat your opponent.
Other characters will be added to the upcoming Mortal Kombat X. Some of the old ones will return like Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Rayden but other new characters will emerge according to Ed Boon in a recent interview.
Mortal Kombat X is the latest installment in the series and is due for release for in 2015. Ed Boon has told his interviewers how the story in latest installment will unfold. He said, "It's a direct continuation, but the time span it crosses is 25 years in length." He mentioned that the playable character will jump around in various time period.
He did mention that the previous installment - Mortal Kombat 9 will be the starting point for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X. The characters Kotal Khan and D'vorah will have significant roles in the game. In every chapter, player will assume a different character. Not only that your character will jump back and forward thru time.
