LeBron James said in a Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news & rumors update that he was surprised with the recent comments made by former Miami Heat teammates Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.
Bosh said earlier this week that he has not talked to James since the four-time Most Valuable Player decided to leave Miami and return to Cleveland. He is not planning to do so either, reiterating that he doesn't care about his former teammate because he is not a Heat player anymore.
"I'm in the mode where I'm trying to lead my team, help these guys out around here," Bosh said via ESPN. "If guys aren't in this locker room, I don't have much time for them -- if any."
Wade, on the other hand, said that while they managed to advance to the finals for the fourth-straight season last year, he admitted that their campaign "wasn't fun."
"It was great, you know, we went to the Finals four years in a row, and it was everything we wanted from that standpoint, but sometimes throughout that run, at certain times, it just wasn't fun," Wade said via Bleacher Report. "Individually, it was great having certain relationships and having my best friend here with me, but all of us didn't have fun all the time."
When asked to comment on the recent statements made by his former Heat teammates, James said in a Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news & rumors update that he was surprised by their comments.
"I know a lot of words have been coming out of their camp as of late and some of it is surprising," James said via ESPN. "We've got so much history together. It doesn't take away from what we accomplished [in Miami] and I know that. I've talked to D. Wade. Obviously, I haven't talked to Chris. But I haven't seen them."
James also added in a Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news & rumors update that he is not taking their future games against each other as a big deal, saying that while he is still treating Bosh and Wade as good friends, they will remain fierce competitors on the hardcourt.
