Carlo Abunijmeh, the CEO of DIY Restaurant Group Inc., is offering a franchise program for his Trogurt Frozen Yogurt Smoothies & Teas and uBuild Pizza Workshop restaurant businesses, Chicago Business reports.
"We've been making pizzas so long that we are confident we're ready to sell franchises," he said, according to the site.
"Everything is set up in place with an easy structure that even somebody who has never worked in restaurants before can understand."
Most of his businesses, operating across several parts of Illinois, are located in Orland Park, Oakbrook Terrace and La Grange. Abunijmeh began growing his career as a restaurant entrepreneur after leaving college while studying engineering and working at Di Nico's Pizza in Berwyn, the Chicago Business also reports.
Trogurt is primarily focused on yogurt and dairy soft drinks while uBuild focuses on pizza. The latter produces the 12-inch pizzas produced in wood-burning ovens.
Abunijmeh has not announced specific locations for possible future franchises.
