The first episode "Grimm Season 4" is due for release on October 24. Here are some spoilers on what to expect in the upcoming season.
In the last season finale, Detective Nick Burkhradt (played by David Giuntoli) is no longer a "Grimm." He lost his supernatural gift of spotting Wesens, due to a potion and a sexual encounter with Adalind Shade (played by Claire Coffee). Nick didn't know who she really was because Adalind took the form of his girlfriend, Juliette (played by Bitsie Tulloch). Meanwhile Police Captain Renard (played by Sasha Roiz) is being rushed to a hospital emergency room with a fatal wound.
The fourth season premiere is titled "Thanks for the Memories". While Nick has lost his powers, he did not seem to mind it. In a TV Guide interview, David Giuntoli said, "There's no way Nick will lost Juliette again. He'll just have to fight crime the old-fashioned way."
The newlyweds Monroe (played by Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (played by Bree Turner) have to delay their honeymoon due to the fact that they have to aid Nick in his time of need.
Trubel (played by Jacqueline Toboni) is another Grimm who will help Nick to recover and get his Grimm powers back.
Two actresses will make their appearance in the upcoming "Grimm season 4." Elizabeth Rodriguez and Louise Lombard are slated to appear.
An Entertainment Weekly post revealed that at least four new types of Wesen will be introduced in the upcoming "Grimm Season 4." The first Wesen is a Gedachtnis Esser aka "Manopus", as the name suggests it's a part man and part octopus. This Wesen uses four of its tentacles to tunnel its way through the head of its victims and take their memories.
The second Wesen is a Schinderdiv - a demonlike beast armed with long fangs. The third, Heftigauroch is a Wesen that assumes the form of a bull when infuriated. The last one is a Golem while not a Wesen is a gruesome being of Jewish origin.
