Bandai Namco Games, the publisher of "Dragonball Xenoverse," made an announcement on Twitter regarding the available characters that will be playable on their network test.
The Twitter message said that the playable characters will be Goku the main protagonist, followed by Kid Gohan, Nappa, Krillin, Piccolo, Raditz, Tien, Vegeta and Yamcha. So far, these are the initial characters that a player can use. While Bandai has yet to announce on who the next characters will be, it is safe to assume that others will joined this initial batch.
For those who are curious, "Dragonball Xenoverse" network test will begin in two days. This upcoming game network is limited only to PS3 owners. If you intend to register today then you are out of luck, as registration for the network test had already been stopped. Once a player gets in the network, he or she starts the adventure in Toki Toki City. According to PlayStation Blog, this is where players will start fighting each other.
Dimps is the game developer of "Dragonball Xenoverse." In the game's story mode, the player will assume a customized character. A certain villain is determined to distort the Dragonball Z plot. Your character has to stop this villain before he destroys your world.
The more you fight and win the more armor becomes available to you. Your character has the ability to learn various techniques that can be use to improve your chances in winning more difficult matches. Your character needs not to be limited with just one race and you can also choose between a Saiyan male or female and Namekian.
While the network test is due to launch in two days, the exact release date of the final version of the "Dragonball Xenoverse" has yet to be announced. According to the official website, however, the launch date is set sometime in the early part of 2015. The official site also offers trailers and preview of the upcoming game network test.
