"Masters of Sex" star Nicholas D'Agosto will play Harvey Dent in Fox's "Gotham"
According to The Hollywood Reporter report, D'Agosto will portray the villainous Two-Face, the Gotham city assistant distric attorney.
Nicholas will have recurring role in the series' first season.
According to reports, there is also an option in his contract to become a regular for season 2 in the event the series is renewed.
Harvey Dent's character will later become Two-Face in the series, based from the DC Comics universe.
The character is described as handsome, energetic, and full of light and life while taking the worst things that the city of Gotham has to offer. He will be the city's white knight but will eventually turn evil.
Based on characters from the DC Comics universe including a young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Joker and Catwoman (Camren Bicondova), the drama explores the origin stories of Commissioner James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and the villains that made Gotham famous.
Donal Logue and Jada Pinkett Smith also star in the Fox drama series.
D'Agosto is repped by UTA and Emerald Talent Group.
He also starred in hit series "The Office" and "Heroes".
The actor was best known for his role in the fifth installment of "Final Destination" and "Fired Up!" movie.
D'Angelo also joins the theater and had starred in the production of the play "Chomsky 9/11" with theater company "Theatre X."
He was also cast in the TV show, How I Met Your Dad, as Frank, "the dorky IT guy who falls for Sally," the main character played by Greta Gerwig. The project was later cancelled.
"Gotham" airs on Mondays at 8 P.M. on Fox.
