Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of its first and newest hotel in Colombia, the Hotel Garden Inn Baranquilla.
The Hotel Garden Inn Baranquilla has 123 rooms and includes office space, high-end shopping mall consisting of 126 stores, 7 movie theaters and parking.
The hotel is conveniently located in Colombia's Caribbean port city and a 30-minute ride from the Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport.
"Colombia is an important country to focus on as we continue to grow in Latin America, and we are thrilled to announce the opening of the newest hotel for Hilton Garden Inn," said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn.

Hilton Worldwide has showed interest in building hotels in Latin America.
"Hilton Worldwide recently announced our growth plans in Latin America, which include an additional six hotel developments in Colombia," said Tom Potter, senior vice president, Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America, Hilton Worldwide.
"The opening of Hilton Garden Inn Barranquilla demonstrates our focus on Colombia and positions us for further growth in this market," Potter added.
The hotel houses The Garden Grille and Bar restaurant which serves fresh food and made-to-order meals all throughout the day and a lobby bar that invites guests for refreshments.
The hotel also features a round-the-clock Pavilion Pantry where guests can buy a variety of ready made meals, drinks and snacks.
The Hotel Garden Inn Baranquilla's recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center with high quality cardio and strength training equipment.
Guests at the Hilton Garden Inn Barranquilla also have access to comfortable and efficient meeting space, complimentary Wi-Fi and a 24-hour business center.
Hilton Worldwide currently has 64 hotels and resorts in Latin America, including seven hotels in Colombia.
Meanwhile, the company is planning on further expansion in Latin American and currently has plans to open an additional six hotels in Colombia.
