Convenience store chain and franchise 7-Eleven is launching a healthy food initiative at locations around the world, offering quinoa salad and cold-pressed juices as part of its new menu options.
P90X fitness creator Tony Horton is spearheading the initiative and is its celebrity representative.
"These salads, sandwiches, wraps and juices are for customers who are looking for healthier options on the go," Horton said in a statement, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"I truly believe that this joint venture between Tony Horton Kitchen and 7-Eleven can be a tipping point to improve America's health."
Cold-pressed juice flavors include celery, apple, cucumber, spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, lime, lemon, wheat grass, clover sprouts and others, the newspaper also reports.
Sandwiches being offered as part of 7-Eleven's Tony Horton Kitchen section include grilled chicken, curried chicken salad and turkey breast. Black bean hummus dips complement the dishes.
7-Eleven has increased efforts in recent years to improve its healthy meal options.
Tony Horton Kitchen foods are available at 104 7-Eleven locations in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times reports.
