A Nashville resident is now a millionaire after purchasing a winning Mega Millions ticket from the 7-Eleven on 3400 West End Avenue.

According to FOX 17, the ticket hit all five white numbers-six, 15, 32, 54, and 67-in the recent Saturday drawing, with the Mega Ball landing on four, making it worth $1 million.

The store that sold the winning ticket is also set to receive a financial reward.

Additionally, two other tickets, each worth a million dollars, were sold in Massachusetts and Montana.

Although the lucky lottery player in Nashville won, they missed the Mega Millions jackpot, estimated at $162 million. To win the jackpot, the player must match the Mega Ball number of four in this draw. The jackpot has now increased to $203 million for the upcoming draw on July 12.

A Mega Millions player in California is running out of time to claim a significant prize of $197.5 million. The winning ticket remains unclaimed, and the clock ticks for the lucky holder to step forward, as The U.S. Sun revealed.

From the December 8 Mega Millions draw, two winners emerged to split a $394 million jackpot. One of the winners has already claimed their share, while the other prize was won in California.

In Delaware, Powerball players are being urged to check their tickets. A $50,000 prize is at risk of expiring. The winning ticket matched five numbers-19, 30, 37, 44, 46-and was sold at a Wawa in Lewes, a short drive from Dover.

The draw occurred on September 30, 2023, and the winner has yet to come forward.

The Mega Millions website explains that when a jackpot prize from the Mega Millions game isn't claimed within the deadline-which varies from state to state-the money goes back to the participating states.

Each state contributed to the unclaimed jackpot and will retrieve its share. The funds from unclaimed lottery prizes are used differently depending on the state. Lottery players are encouraged to contact their state's lottery office to learn how these funds are utilized.
