In an exciting new partnership, Taco Bell and Cheez-It have unveiled two innovative dishes: The Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme and the Big Cheez-It Tostada.

These cheesy new additions are set to delight food lovers across the country.

Taco Bell Launches Cheez-It Menu Items

Taco Bell has transformed the classic Cheez-It cracker by increasing its size dramatically-making it 16 times larger than usual.

According to License Global, these oversized Cheez-Its form the base of two new menu items: the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme and the Big Cheez-It Tostada, both redesigned to incorporate the super-sized cracker. These latest additions will initially be available exclusively to Taco Bell Rewards Members via the Taco Bell app, with a nationwide rollout scheduled for June 6.

Liz Matthews, Taco Bell's Global Chief Food Innovation Officer, expressed that the collaboration aims to merge the essence of two beloved brands to craft an innovative and indulgent offering.

Matthews shared her excitement about the nationwide launch, looking forward to providing fans with a novel way to enjoy the well-loved cheesy and crunchy flavors of both Taco Bell and Cheez-It.

Moreover, Jessica Waller, General Manager at Kellanova, emphasized that Cheez-It is dedicated to transforming cheese into something more than just a snack, aiming to satisfy those with a keen love for cheese and a craving for excitement, per PR Newswire.

Waller noted that collaborating with Taco Bell has been a fantastic opportunity for Kellanova to extend Cheez-It's commitment to cheesy flavors and enjoyable experiences into new culinary areas. This partnership allows fans of both brands to indulge in a new way that keeps them returning for more.

In 2022, two industry giants, Taco Bell, and Cheez-It, teamed up to test the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme and the Big Cheez-It Tostada at a single location in Irvine, California.

The trial was a resounding success, with customer feedback indicating that these new items brought unprecedented excitement to the menu. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response, the companies expanded their offerings nationwide, bringing their biggest and cheesiest creations to fans nationwide.

This major expansion was announced at Taco Bell's first-ever Live Más LIVE event earlier this year.

The updated menu includes the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme, priced at $5.49. This version takes the traditional Crunchwrap ingredients like seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes but swaps the usual tostada shell for a giant Cheez-It cracker, all wrapped in a grilled tortilla.

The Big Cheez-It Tostada, available for $3.99, features the oversized Cheez-It cracker topped with beef, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. For those looking for more, the Big Cheez-It Box, at $8.99, includes the Crunchwrap Supreme, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, regular Nacho Fries, and a medium fountain drink.

According to Taco Bell's website, Taco Bell was founded by Glen Bell in 1962, with its first restaurant opening in Downey, California.

Before the inception of Taco Bell, Glen Bell started his culinary journey by operating a hamburger stand named Bell's Hamburgers, established in 1948 near the border between San Bernardino and Colton, California.

He ventured into Mexican cuisine by opening his first taco stand, Taco Tia 1954, where he sold tacos for just nineteen cents.
