MINISO's Interactive IP Collection Store: A Playful Experience
According to Market Screener, MINISO, echoing its "Life is for Fun" slogan, has launched an exciting new IP Collection Store layout, encouraging shoppers to engage with beloved characters and products in dedicated zones. This innovative design sparks interaction and invites consumers to immerse themselves in a world of fun.
Until May 9, 2024, MINISO's collaboration with the core New Jersey mall features a towering 16-foot-tall PenPen from MINI Family and a playful ball pool area reminiscent of summertime joy.
This creative installation celebrates the store opening and enhances the shopping experience with interactive elements, showcasing MINISO's dedication to bringing joy to consumers.
With a core customer base of younger generations, MINISO consistently focuses on understanding their consumption trends and demands. This approach enables MINISO to provide products that foster emotional connections and stand out. Notably, IP co-branded collections have gained significant interest and popularity among consumers.

In May of the same year, MINISO launched its first global flagship store in Times Square, quickly becoming a favorite destination for locals and tourists. In March 2024, the brand unveiled its second Times Square pop-up store, featuring a striking Stitch-themed storefront design that set a new record for the highest sales per square foot among all US stores.
MINISO's Global Expansion Spurs Growth
MINISO, through close partnerships with nearly 100 renowned global licensers like Barbie, Disney, Minions, Snoopy, and Care Bears, has crafted a wide range of unique proprietary IP products and captivating store designs, providing shoppers with an immersive experience.
The brand also emphasizes its original design IPs, featuring collections such as MINI Family and Dundun Chicken.
In 2023, the success of MINISO's global brand upgrade and IP strategy led to IP product sales contributing over 40% to its global revenue. In North America, IP products fueled rapid growth, pushing MINISO's revenue in the region to a remarkable annual rate of 128%.

In 2023, MINISO expanded into over ten new US states, reaching over 100 stores across 27 states. This is part of its global network, spanning over 6,400 stores. By the end of 2024, MINISO aims to establish its presence in more states nationwide.
It plans to expand in existing cities and add new inland states like Ohio, Tennessee, Colorado, and Utah. Globally, MINISO intends to open between 550 and 650 new stores by the end of 2024, reaffirming its commitment to worldwide expansion and bringing joy to consumers.
