Raydiant and Shaquille O'Neal's Big Chicken Join Forces to Elevate In-Store Dining Experience

Raydiant, a top company in digital store experiences, has just teamed up with basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal's restaurant brand, Big Chicken.

Known for its big flavors and collaborations with cruise lines and aerospace companies, Big Chicken aims to enhance its customer experience through this new partnership with Raydiant.

Elevating Dining with Innovative Tech Solutions

According to a report from PR Newswire, Big Chicken, a restaurant chain owned by basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, it sought Raydiant's expertise in 2023 to improve customer experiences at all its franchise locations.

Through discussions, Raydiant showcased its advanced cloud-based system, which works harmoniously with Big Chicken's preferred POS system from PAR/Brink. This integration supports dynamic digital menu boards and allows for real-time updates to menu offerings based on availability or special promotions.

Implementing Raydiant's technology has significantly enhanced operational efficiency and customer engagement at Big Chicken, delivering a noticeable return on investment. Encouraged by these results, Big Chicken is now preparing to expand the use of Raydiant's solutions across all its outlets.

As reported by Hospitality Technology, Raydiant is set to provide a comprehensive, white-glove service for all locations of the star-studded restaurant chain Big Chicken. This service includes managing the creation and upkeep of content for the brand's digital displays.

At Big Chicken's recent annual franchisee meeting, Raydiant's presentations captivated more than ten franchise owners, prompting them to adopt the technology after seeing its immediate benefits.

Bobby Marhamat, CEO of Raydiant, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to be selected as Big Chicken's digital experience and in-location operating system partner. Looking ahead, the partnership is exploring additional enhancements such as drive-thru signage, programmatic advertising, and the deployment of Raydiant's Visitor Insight tool, which offers analytics on customer behavior to refine the dining experience further.

The Raydiant website highlighted that it is a leading in-location Experience Operating System (OS), transforming how brick-and-mortar businesses across various sectors-including restaurants, retail, hospitality, banking, and entertainment-engage with customers.

The platform integrates digital signage, employee experience solutions, and AI-driven analytics to offer a comprehensive suite of tools for franchise managers, IT professionals, and marketing executives.

This technology empowers them to scale operations smoothly, reduce the stress of managing technology, and deliver personalized, seamless customer experiences that boost loyalty and drive sales.

Meanwhile, according to Big Chicken's website, it was established in 2018. Big Chicken is the brainchild of a powerhouse partnership featuring JRS Hospitality, a prominent Las Vegas-based ownership group, Authentic Brands Group, a global brand development, marketing, and entertainment company, and basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal.

The restaurant blends Shaq's childhood culinary memories with contemporary tastes, from crispy chicken sandwiches and tenders to innovative dishes like Cheez-It-crusted mac' n' cheese and hand-crafted ice cream shakes. Each item on the menu provides a glimpse into O'Neal's personality and life story.

With 18 operational locations and more in the pipeline, Big Chicken is gearing up for significant expansion in the U.S. and internationally through franchising.
