About Sprouts Farmers Market

Founded in 2002, Sprouts Farmers Market embarked on a visionary quest to make natural foods not only universally accessible but also affordable. At its inception, offering fresh, organic options was often associated with high costs and limited availability.

Sprouts aimed to dismantle these barriers by creating a welcoming, easily navigable shopping environment free of indecipherable ingredient lists and exorbitant prices.

From the beginning, Sprouts committed to a radically different approach: rejecting the nation's most popular sodas, snacks, and candies.

This bold decision was rooted in a steadfast belief that clean eating and wholesome living should transcend fad status to become a fundamental lifestyle. Sprouts envisioned a grocery experience that equated healthiness with affordability, asserting that nutritious food should be accessible to everyone, regardless of economic status.

Sprouts imagines its stores as the epitome of a vibrant farmers market. It operates with the ethos that shopping for natural and organic products should be an everyday convenience, not a luxury.

The stores are meticulously designed to blend the charm of traditional farmers' markets with the efficiency of modern retail. Each location is staffed by knowledgeable, friendly team members dedicated to the Sprouts philosophy of value and quality.

Today, Sprouts has flourished into a remarkable network of over 380 stores, supported by approximately 31,000 dedicated team members.

These individuals are pivotal to the company's ongoing success. They infuse passion and integrity into their work daily, across every community, and with every customer they engage.

This unwavering commitment ensures that Sprouts continues offering a refreshingly wholesome shopping experience that champions the idea that being different is not just good but exceptional.
