Starbucks lovers are gearing up for a big change to three of their favorite drinks, which are getting a spicy makeover this month.
Food bloggers and Starbucks workers have shared on social media that these new, zesty versions of the classic beverages will hit stores starting April 16.
Starbucks' Spicy Surprise: Not an April Fool
While Starbucks hasn't officially announced the new spicy drink, blogger Markie Devo has given fans a sneak peek. In a Facebook post, Devo showed off what appears to be the new Spicy Lemonade Refreshers.
Despite sharing the news on April 1, Devo quickly assured everyone this was no April Fool's Day joke. They said an employee spilled the beans about the drink, offering a glimpse into the new refreshment.
The food enthusiast shared that Starbucks plans to introduce three spicy flavors: Spicy Dragonfruit, Spicy Strawberry, and Spicy Pineapple.
In the photo shared by Devo, these new offerings look quite similar to the classic drinks we know, but with a twist. They're spiced up with a special Spicy Chili Powder Blend, adding a burst of heat that promises to excite the taste buds.
Devo described these updated beverages as a "tropical escape with plenty of heat," perfect for those wanting to add excitement to their drink routine.
These Spicy Lemonade Refreshers are said to be available for a short period starting April 16, making them a must-try for adventurous Starbucks fans.

Mixed Reactions to Starbucks' Spicy Surprise
Some Starbucks fans are hesitant about trying the new Spicy Lemonade Refreshers, which will soon be added to the menu. One person predicted an immediate, possibly unpleasant reaction to the spicy twist in online discussions.
Many share concerns about how the mix of spicy and sour might not be the refreshing experience they're used to. "Talk about heartburn and acid reflux," one comment read, summarizing the skepticism. Others outright reject the idea, with reactions ranging from "Yuck, spicy drinks?" to "Hard pass, I do not do spicy."
Despite the skepticism, a handful of Starbucks enthusiasts eagerly await the chance to try these novel creations. "I will have to try them all," one optimist stated, with another adding, "Yummy I can't wait to try them."
In search of official details, The U.S. Sun contacted Starbucks. A representative highlighted the current "hot honey beverages" at Starbucks Reserve locations as the season's spicy offering but hinted at more.
"Starbucks is embracing the heat this spring; keep an eye out for something spicy coming to all Starbucks stores soon," they teased, sparking further curiosity among fans.
Meanwhile, Starbucks is expanding its beverage lineup with a new collection of ready-to-drink canned coffee drinks. The lineup includes three popular cold brew options: Chocolate Cream, Vanilla Sweet Cream, and Salted Caramel Cream, all available in convenient 11-ounce cans. These cans are priced at $3.59 each, offering a quick coffee fix for brand fans.
Understanding the growing trend of enjoying morning coffee at home, Starbucks is also introducing two new additions to its multi-serve cold brew selection. The brand now offers 40-ounce bottles in two flavors: Caramel Cream and a new non-dairy choice, Oatmilk Brown Sugar, catering to a wider range of coffee enthusiasts looking for larger, at-home options.
