Kilwins, a popular chain known for its sweets and ice cream, is set to open a new store in Fishers. This will be their second location in the Indianapolis area, the company from Petoskey, Michigan, confirmed on Thursday.

Kilwins Confectionary Set to Sweeten Fishers This Fall
Kilwins Chocolates Franchise Inc. has announced that its new store in Fishers is scheduled to open this autumn. The store will be located at The Yard at Fishers District, taking up 1,200 square feet in a large 33,000-square-foot building currently being built at 11594 Whistle Drive, near East 116th Street.
Adam and Kirstyn Kallick, residents of Fishers, will be running this new Kilwins shop as franchisees.
"We are incredibly excited to introduce Kilwins to the Fishers area," said a recent statement by Adam and Kirstyn Kallick, the local franchise owners. "We're looking forward to offering the community our top-quality chocolates, homemade fudge, and delicious ice cream. This new opening in Fishers follows the successful launch of the first Kilwins store in central Indiana by Paul and Renee Marinko. They opened their shop in 2018 at 500 Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis, bringing a delightful experience to the city.

Kilwins Eyes Expansion with Major Investment and New Developments
Last year, Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), a private equity firm based in Beverly Hills, California, acquired a majority stake in Kilwins.
Their goal is to speed up the growth of Kilwins franchises, focusing mainly on areas in the Midwest, East, and Southeast. LLCP has a history of investing in successful food franchises like Nothing Bundt Cakes, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and Wetzel's Pretzels.
Thompson Thrift Development LLC, based in Indianapolis, is leading the development of Fishers District. This project will bring new shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, and living spaces.
Additionally, this fall, the Indy Fuel, a minor league hockey team, is set to move into a new $170 million event center in Fishers District. This venue will have 8,500 seats, adding to the district's growing appeal.
