NIL Store: Empowering Student-Athletes with Comprehensive Services

The NIL Store at West Virginia University is not just a retail outlet; it's a full-service operation. From creating products and designs to handling marketing, fulfillment, and customer service, the team does it all for their student-athletes.

They also provide education on the latest trends in merchandising and marketing, helping student-athletes develop effective strategies for success.

In a significant move in 2020, INFLCR joined forces with WVU, marking its first venture into college football. INFLCR is a unique data service focusing on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). They specialize in combining tailored reporting with digital education and content advice, benefiting student-athletes, coaches, and their social media platforms.

Matt Wells, Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs at WVU, emphasized the university's dedication to NIL opportunities for its student-athletes. He expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with INFLCR, highlighting its role in providing more avenues for student-athletes to increase their earnings.

The Mountaineer Exchange, a key initiative component, is designed to simplify the NIL process and directly connect student-athletes with business and endorsement deals.

The West Virginia University NIL Store is changing the game for its student-athletes, offering them a platform to sell officially licensed merchandise. This initiative enables fans to purchase high-quality products and, in doing so, directly support their favorite athletes financially.

The online store promises to keep its offerings fresh and exciting, planning regular updates with new custom items, premium jerseys, and more to cater to the fans' and athletes' needs.

The NIL Store Network, endorsed by entrepreneur Mark Cuban, operates on three core principles: making NIL merchandise accessible to all athletes, prioritizing athletes in every aspect, and maximizing their earnings from every sale.

These guiding principles have shaped the NIL Store, which Campus Ink manages since it ventured into the NIL sphere in late 2021.

This innovative approach was first tested at the University of Illinois. There, the Illinois NIL Store generated significant revenue for the men's basketball team, catching the attention of Cuban.

He subsequently invested in the venture, insisting that the opportunities extend to all athletes.

Since then, the NIL Store has seen rapid growth, employing a team of ex-collegiate athletes, coaches, and administrators committed to enhancing student-athletes welfare.

Validated by the NIL Network, the NIL Store is setting new benchmarks in officially licensed and custom merchandise for NIL.

Campus Ink, the driving force behind the NIL Store, focuses on educating collegiate students in merchandising. They provide a unique learning environment where students can develop their branding skills, understand design, and learn product marketing.

This program supports student-athletes in maximizing their NIL merchandise sales and trains students in design, sales, and marketing, aiding their professional growth and financial empowerment.
