This spring, the Burlington store in St. Cloud is set for a big change. The popular discount retailer, currently located near Costco and Blacklight Adventures on 33rd Avenue South, is relocating to Rivertown Village, situated in the 900 block of Second Street South.
The new location for Burlington will be in the space previously occupied by Bed Bath and Beyond, right beside Sierra Trading Post.

New Burlington Store: A One-Stop Shop for Families
Burlington's upcoming St. Cloud location isn't just a store, it's a treasure trove for the whole family. Shoppers can look forward to a wide array of products including women's accessories, baby essentials, men's big and tall apparel, children's clothing, shoes, home decor, pet supplies, and a variety of toys.
While the store is aiming to open its doors in March, the exact date is still up in the air. This new addition to the Burlington chain, which operates 977 stores across 46 states and Puerto Rico, is set to bring more shopping variety to Rivertown Village.
Rivertown Village is already home to a diverse mix of businesses, ranging from AAA, Affordable Dentures and Implants, Barnes & Noble, and Chipotle, to Cold Stone Creamery, Crumbl Cookies, Granite City Food and Brewery, and Jersey Mike's.
The shopping center also features Kids Hair Salon, LeeAnn Chin, Office Depot, Old Navy, Party City, Sierra, and Snappy Furniture and Mattress, making it a vibrant hub for shopping and services.
The much-anticipated opening of Burlington's new store in St. Cloud is on the horizon, with expectations pointing towards March. However, the exact date is still to be confirmed. Recent job listings for the store suggest that it's gearing up for a spring launch.
Burlington has been a familiar name in St. Cloud since 2014, with its current location at 250 33rd Ave. S. Suite 103. This upcoming move marks a new chapter for the retailer in the city.
Burlington Expands Nationwide: New Store Openings in 2024
In a recent update from Burlington's official website, the retail giant has announced a series of store openings scheduled for February 2024. On February 16th, new locations will open in Aberdeen, North Carolina; Melrose Park, Illinois; and Morehead City, North Carolina.
Following this, on February 23rd, Burlington will expand its presence in Texas with new stores in Denton, Longview, and Waco. These openings are part of Burlington's ongoing efforts to increase its retail footprint across the United States.
In March 2024, Burlington is set to expand its reach with several store openings across the United States, per the information on the company's website. The month will kick off with openings in Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Kissimmee, FL; Littleton, CO; Midlothian, VA; Norfolk, VA; and Orlando, FL, all scheduled for March 1st.
Following closely, on March 8th, new stores will welcome shoppers in Atlanta, GA; Green Bay, WI; Panama City Beach, FL; and St. Augustine, FL. Mid-March will see another wave of openings, with stores launching on March 22nd in Atlanta, GA; D'Iberville, MS; Edmond, OK; and Staten Island, NY.
The month will conclude with openings in Goldsboro, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Rochester, NY; and St. Cloud, MN on March 29th. These new locations are part of Burlington's ongoing expansion, bringing their unique shopping experience to more communities.
