Starkes emphasized CAVA's commitment to generosity towards customers, team members, and the broader community, a philosophy eagerly embraced in their new Hunt Valley venture.

A highlight of CAVA's community engagement is offering free meals at every new restaurant opening and encouraging donations for local causes. Impressively, the company matches these donations up to $1,000. Since 2019, CAVA has successfully raised over $350,000, mainly aiming to tackle food insecurity within local communities.

CAVA Hunt Valley Opening Aids Maryland Food Bank

The recent opening of CAVA in Hunt Valley is a win for Mediterranean food lovers and the Maryland Food Bank. Funds raised during the grand opening will support the food bank's initiatives.

Moreover, CAVA collaborated with a local nonprofit to donate excess food from their Hunt Valley branch. This donation, made during the restaurant's preliminary training phase, was aimed at helping those in need within the community.

In the lead-up to its grand opening, CAVA significantly impacted the local community. During the preview event, the restaurant matched donations to the Maryland Food Bank, contributing up to $1,000.

Additionally, CAVA generously donated hundreds of their freshly prepared bowls and pitas, crafted by employees during training sessions, to the Food Bank.

The much-anticipated grand opening of CAVA is scheduled for Friday, January 26.

According to a recent update from a Maryland website, the state's food assistance safety net, developed over the past 45 years, has demonstrated remarkable resilience in various crises.
