Poke Burri: Unique Sushi Twists at Winter Garden's New Spot

Poke Burri is known for its creative take on traditional sushi dishes. Alongside the usual offerings of poke bowls, ramen bowls, spring rolls, dumplings, and sushi burritos, the restaurant boasts a "secret menu." This special menu transforms sushi into unconventional forms like pizzas, corndogs, doughnuts, and sandwiches, offering a unique twist for sushi lovers.

Originating from a food hall in 2016, Poke Burri aimed to deliver the finest poke to Atlanta. It quickly gained popularity and is expanding its innovative concept to other states, including Texas and the Carolinas, through franchising.

The Winter Garden opening marks a significant milestone in the restaurant's growth, promising to bring a fresh and exciting sushi experience to Florida.

Sam and Sheana Brown, a local couple who have called the Orlando area home for a decade, are set to manage the new Poke Burri sushi restaurant in Winter Garden. The Browns chose Winter Garden for their venture, recognizing the rapid growth of the area and the potential for attracting a high volume of customers on West Colonial Drive.

Currently, they have no plans to open additional locations.

The 2,000-square-foot establishment has already brought four new jobs to the community. It will welcome diners six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Sundays will see slightly shorter hours, opening from noon until 7 p.m.

Poke Burri, a highly acclaimed restaurant in Atlanta, is renowned for its innovative approach to traditional poke bowls and sushi burritos. With a flair for creativity, they offer signature dishes and customizable options. However, what truly sets Poke Burri apart is their "not-so-secret" secret menu, which is famous nationwide.

This menu features award-winning and unconventional sushi creations, such as sushi donuts, sushi corndogs, and even sushi pizza, showcasing their culinary innovation.

Lifting Noodles: Innovative Ramen Revolutionizes Local Dining

Lifting Noodles, renowned for its unique take on traditional ramen, first opened in January 2018 at the We Suki Suki food hall in East Atlanta Village. The eatery set out with a clear goal: to be the best ramen spot in the city. It quickly earned a reputation as a local favorite for ramen enthusiasts.

The success of Lifting Noodles is steered by its co-founders, Seven Chan and Ken Yu. Chan brings nearly two decades of entrepreneurial experience, specializing in business strategy, development, social media, press, and marketing. Yu complements this with over 20 years in the restaurant industry, focusing on business startups, logistics, quality assurance, and food safety.

Their combined efforts have made Lifting Noodles a popular dining destination and led them to win multiple awards for their business skills and contributions to the city. Their accomplishments have been recognized in various media outlets, including Entrepreneurial Chef, Food Network, Forbes, US Weekly, and more.
