The Canadian hospitality group Joey Restaurants is set to open a new JOEY Restaurant at Dallas' North Park Center on January 18, 2024.

It marks the first of three planned locations in Dallas. The new restaurant will take over the space previously occupied by Seasons 52, located on the first floor of NorthPark's south corridor near Northwest Highway.

Joey Restaurants is set to expand its presence in the United States by opening three new locations in Dallas.

Nancy Nasher, the owner of NorthPark Center, one of the chosen locations, expressed enthusiasm about the development.

She believes that Joey Restaurants will be a "fantastic addition" to the local dining scene in Dallas, offering a welcoming and lively dining experience for shoppers and visitors.

Following the opening of their eateries in Dallas, the Canadian group plans to establish Local Public Eatery, a laid-back American restaurant and pub, in East Dallas. This new venture will open on Henderson Avenue in the summer of 2024.

The location is notably in the same shopping area as the Veritas Wine Room and the recently renovated neighborhood restaurant, Gemma.

Local Public Eatery already operates eight establishments in Canada and one in Washington state, making the Dallas opening a significant step into the southern U.S. market.
