Pizza Hut celebrates the holiday season by giving away $100,000 worth of pizza to all deliveristas during the busiest season beginning on December 06.
During the holiday season, delivery drivers face an increased workload as more people use services like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Amazon for doorstep deliveries.
In this busy period, those opting for a meal from Pizza Hut can contribute to the delivery person's dinner at no extra expense. This initiative from Pizza Hut is designed to support these diligent workers during times of high demand.
Expression of Gratitude
"We wanted to spread some joy during this season for those delivery drivers," said Lindsay Morgan, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut, in an interview with CNN.
Morgan said each driver can receive a $25 gift card, which typically covers the cost of a large pizza in many areas.
Additionally, Pizza Hut promotes a budget-friendly $7 "Deal Lover's" menu. They also have a Family Pasta Pair deal, which includes two pasta dishes and breadsticks, priced at $13.99 plus tax. This initiative is part of Pizza Hut's effort to show appreciation for delivery drivers during the holiday season.

Pizza Hut is Gifting Deliveristas: A Reverse Delivery Mat
Every year, Pizza Hut's drivers bring over 110 million pizzas to their customers. The company is saying a big 'thank you' to all delivery drivers this holiday season for their hard work. They've created a new thing called the "Reverse Delivery" doormat. When delivery drivers bring something to a house with this doormat, they get a free pizza.
Starting on December 6, anyone who orders from Pizza Hut can get one of these unique doormats from their website, shopatpizzahut.com. This promotion is Pizza Hut's way of giving back to the delivery drivers who are extra busy during the holidays.
Pizza Hut explained the operation of their new campaign: The doormat, part of their "Reverse Delivery" initiative, comes with a scannable code that directs to shopatpizzahut.com. Any delivery driver can claim a Pizza Hut gift card, available while stocks last and subject to specific terms and conditions.
The company also announced that 50 of these unique doormats will be up for grabs each day on a first-come, first-served basis from December 6 to December 10.
Pizza Hut has controls to ensure only real delivery drivers benefit from the promotion. People who scan the doormat QR code must submit their full name, email address, and shipping address. Preventing offer misuse is the goal. The corporation will distribute 4,000 gift cards, one per participant.
The "Reverse Delivery" promotion from Pizza Hut is subject to specific terms and conditions. It operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is available only while supplies last, as quantities are limited.
This offer is open exclusively to legal residents of the United States residing in any of the 50 states or the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age. The promotion concludes at 11:59 PM CT on December 30, 2023, when all available offers have been claimed, whichever occurs first.
There are a minimum of 4,000 offers available, with a limit of one per individual. Additional restrictions may apply.
