According to the report on Monday, the decision to delay its launch to next month has been attributed to performance-related concerns.

Sources quoted in The Information revealed that Google's Gemini faced challenges with specific non-English queries, leading to the postponement of its launch.
This issue prompted Google CEO Sundar Pichai to call off upcoming events in California, New York, and Washington. Gemini is expected to be a direct competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT.
The report highlighted that the upcoming unannounced events were set to be Google's most significant product launch this year. This news comes after the company allocated extensive computing resources and combined important teams in a swift response to competing with OpenAI.
Google had planned to show off Gemini at several events ending this month in New York, Washington, DC, and California.
Before it was canceled, the event in Washington, DC, was supposed to show US lawmakers Google's growing AI projects at a time when the government was looking more and more for ways to control the tech.
Described as a suite of large-language models, Gemini is being developed using extensive internet data. Upon completion, it will manage a wide range of user requests, encompassing text and image queries, software coding, and more.
This sophisticated AI is anticipated to enhance Google's offerings, notably its Bard AI chatbot and search engine.
To date, Google has remained relatively quiet regarding Gemini's specific abilities.
