Wendy's Frosty Followers Gets to Enjoy “Trick or Treat” this Fall

The famous coupon book fundraiser will help kids to find foster homes

Wendy's will make their Halloween different this time. It will run a pilot program nationwide with is famous Halloween Coupon book which will help homeless kind find foster families. Starting today until 31st of October, customers can buy the coupon book that has full of Junior Frosty coupons. They only need to pay $1 for this. The coupon will be shared with family, friends or the participants of trick or treat. For every $.90 of the $1 that they have spent will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption or known as DTFA. This will help in finding families for over 134,000 homeless kids that are waiting for foster care.

"This will be the first for our Halloween Coupon book platform to run such idea. Customers can give something to these kids and at the same time enjoy their Frosty treats. We are looking forward for this fundraising event to be fruitful and successful. The brand is excited to help these kids find families who will love and take care of them as real families. And this program is also to support the mission of Dave Thomas," said the vice president of the brand, Liz Geraghty.

Through the brand's support for the foundation, there will be over 4,000 kids will find new homes and with the help of the national community this Halloween Coupon books, Wendy's will be able to raise as high as $3 million to help more kids.

Consumers can just buy the books only for $1 at any Wendy's branch. There will be no extra purchased needed. This will run from September 15 until October 31. The coupon book program is one of the annual cause marketing program of the brand.
