Kono Pizza USA, is a rapid-growing food chain that offers pizza-in-a-cone concept, released its statement on the multi-unit franchise agreement that will open three Kono Pizza branches in the Queen City.
The latest Kono Pizza branches will be under the management of Matthews, North Carolina-based Guilford Adams LLC, group of Australian entrepreneurs Gayle and Carl Adams. Gayle, who was the assigned deputy division manage at VSE Corporation, and Carl, a known examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office who used to be a food franchise operator before, decided to work with Kono Pizza to put a diversion on their business development plan.
"After more than ten years of focusing on slicing of triangle and square pizza, Charlotte residents are now ready to experience an innovative way to savor their most-loved Italian food. We are looking forward to launch a healthier and accessible substitute to conventional pizza, the pizza cone," according to Gayle Adams.
A pizza in a cone and filled with fresh ingredients using dough and sauce that came all the way from Italy, Kono Pizza gives their customers a healthier, accessible substitute on their Italian craving. The very famous thin crust and less-moisture cheese, Kono Pizza cones only have less than 300 calories for each, rather than the normal pizza which has an average of 450 calories in a slice.
