India Gets to Taste Lord of the Fries

| By

The famous vegetarian fast food chain, Lord of the Fries, closed an expansion agreement on putting up 50 more units in India in the next decade to come, or perhaps it can happen earlier.

The McDonnell McPhee & Associates, headed by Richard McDonnell, was responsible for the expansion plan and pursued the agreement. According to its press release, the pilot store will be starting its operation on the 31st of March, 2015.

McDonnell quoted, "top officials are at present in India conduction an ocular inspection as well as doing arrangements with the suppliers and other partners. After everything has been done, the store is ready for business."

"It will be a master franchise deal. The business deal was initiated by Indians who are at present living in Singapore. They have bought the rights to the brand and decided to bring it to their country."

In addition to that, McDonnell said that the organization is also negotiating with other potential partners in Malaysia, Singapore, United States and Pakistan. They are planning to push through with their global expansion plan.

"There have been talks here and there, talks have been conducted with interested parties and if all has been ironed out, we will eventually pursue them one at a time."

At the moment, there are eight units of Lord of the Fries that are open for business Sydney and Melbourne. And there are still more stores that are up for opening.

"There will be more stores to open in Sydney soon and a master franchise is up for negotiation in Western Australia area," as McDonnell claimed in his statement.

The store in India will be designed according to the needs of the local community. Even the menu will be modified as to what the local market demands. This is to help give the local consumers ideal dining experience.
