Irvine, California-based restaurant franchise Taco Bell is currently in the testing stages of its newest menu option, the biscuit taco.
The dish, which includes a biscuit in the shape of a taco, has already been released in San Antonio, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia-it is being tested in Orange County and Los Angeles, California until October, Fox News reports.
FoodBeast describes the dish as a "golden brown biscuit that happens to be shaped in the form of a taco," the sandwich has several filling choices, including: Sausage, Egg and Cheese; Bacon, Egg, and Cheese; Sausage and Cheese; Egg and Cheese; Sausage and Gravy. Taco Bell said its biscuits are made with real buttermilk and real butter, too."
Perhaps one of the most widely-asked questions surrounding the biscuit taco was its composition-Taco Bell officials have confirmed that biscuits are made with real buttermilk and butter.
