Taco Bell Foundation for Teens donates $2500 for every Touchdown Scored by Bush in 2014 Football Season
IRVINE, Calif.-Celebrity Ambassador Reggie Bush together with the Taco Ball Foundation for Teens, convert touchdowns more than just seven points this football season. The two parties said they will team up to help Boys & Girls Clubs of America through the campaign "Touchdown for Teens." For every touchdown Bush does, a $2,500 donation will be awarded to the Boys and Girls Club. Every touchdowns made in home games, the club of Southeastern Michigan will be the beneficiary. Any touchdown he makes on his eight away games, a donation will be awarded to any club in that city.
"Giving back is definitely important and also to my partners at the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens," said Bush. "It really inspires me to play better knowing that every touchdown I make, it will benefit the Boys & Girls Club members in Detroit as well as in other parts of the country."
Early this year, Bush has worked with Taco Bell Foundation for Teens as their spokesperson. He made special appearance at his previous high school, the Helix High School in San Diego and rewarded the students for strong commitment to education. He also donated $15,000 to the sports program. Bush hosted annual ProCamps wherein 15 campers get a scholarship to join the camp. This program joined by The Taco Bell Foundation for Teens.
This is not the first time that the club and the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens worked together. The early part of this year, these two organizations made a five-year partnership to help teens graduate from high school. In addition to their commitment, the Taco Bell Foundation is expected to give a $30 million multi-year grant to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The Taco Bell Foundation for Teens was formed in 1992 with the goal to inspire teens since they are its major customers. Over 6,000 restaurants across America, Taco Bell is very much involved in helping communities where the majority of the population are teens.
