You might be annoyed about losing an hour of sleep come Sunday at 2 a.m. when clocks spring ahead, but Krispy Kreme is offering its original glazed for no cost, and without a catch as part of its "Lose An Hour Gain A Doughnut" The International Business Times reported Friday.
"We are celebrating Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, March 9th by offering a free original glazed doughnut (one per guest) at participating US and Canadian locations. No purchase necessary," the company said on its website. "What a sweet reason to make an hour early."
Over 1,500 Facebook users had already chimed in Thursday indicating their plans to retrieve one of the popular doughnuts at no charge, which will be available at 5 a.m. Sunday.

The offer will be available in select Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the United States and Canada The International Business Times reported.

Krispy Kreme also offered free doughnuts for International Talk Like A Pirate Day when customers said "ye" instead of "you," and "me" in place of "my" Time reported.
