Man's Reunion With High School, College Sweetheart Motivates 275 Pound Weight Loss

| By

A man's reunion with his long lost high school and college sweetheart was all the motivation he needed to lose 275 pound CNN reported.

Lee Jordan was 475 pounds when he met up with Beth Schwein at a Starbucks in Herndon, Va. after an over 20 year absence of not seeing each other.

"Beth looked at me, and all she saw was Lee Jordan," Jordan told CNN. "That's it. There was nothing but love and acceptance in her eyes."

Jordan met Schwein while the two attended a church youth group in Washington in 1979 when she was 16-years old, and he was 15-years old.

Jordan and Schwein began to date shortly after until graduation when Schwein ventured off to Virginia's Radford University. Jordan then followed in her footsteps.

"In our minds, we (just had to) finish college, and then we could get married," Jordan told CNN.

"I cannot express how powerful that was. That was the turning point to give me the willingness to turn things around," Jordan told CNN.

Jordan remained consistent with his routine before all the weight he lost came back following a break-up with Schwein CNN reported.

Jordan reportedly consumed no more than two large pizzas, a super-size large family bag of Doritos, two large tubs of dip, two large boxes of cookies and a half-gallon of ice cream.

"I would get on the treadmill or Stairmaster every single day for one hour," Jordan told CNN. "Then I would eat practically nothing: anywhere between 600 to 900 calories a day, which is insane." He at one point lost 100 pounds throughout a workout camp over the course of a year.

The two parted ways after Schwein in a separation that saw Schwein graduate college, and Jordan withdraw from school, and start employment at home CNN reported.

Schwein was not able to stand Jordan until their relationship was recently started anew.
