People in Sioux City, Iowa can breathe a sigh of relief from the cold weather with a nice cup of soup from Chick-Fil-A's selection according to a community post on the Sioux City Journal's website Wednesday.
The location has chicken tortilla soup, and chicken noodle soup the post said.
"If you are feeling the chill of winter come in to the Sergeant Road Chick-fil-A and warm up with a bowl of our delicious Chicken Tortilla or Chicken Noodle Soup!" the post said.
"Our Chicken Tortilla Soup features shredded boneless breast of chicken. It has navy, northern and black beans in a white creamy base with the perfect blend of vegetables and spices. It will heat up your dining experience!" the post said.
"Our chicken noodle soup has chunks of chicken breast, chopped carrots and celery with egg noodles in a hearty broth. It's sure to warm a body up on a cold day!
We can't wait to see you today at Chick-fil-A!" the post said.
The soup is not the only way Chick-Fil-A is giving back to the communities where it has locations.
Donators can give food during a food drive at Chick-Fil-A's Elmhurst, Ill location Wednesday, one day prior to the franchise restaurant location's grand opening Thursday The Chicago Tribune reported.
The location will be the municipality's foremost Chick-Fil-A when it opens Thursday, but it will be turned into a place for people to bring edibles to a food drive for the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.
Participants who give five food products or greater receive a free Chick-fil-A sandwich coupon from Gutherz The Tribune reported.
The pantry is in need to re-supply it shelves after a busy holiday season, and are at the 235 E. State Street Chick-fil-A's parking lot to gather non-perishable food from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Tribune reported.
