Boeing is distributing 10 of its 787 Dreamliner jets a month a press release reported Friday.
"This rate increase reflects the continued strong demand for the 787," Larry Loftis, vice president and general manager of the 787 program at Boeing Commercial Airplanes said in a statement. "A disciplined approach that combined employee teamwork with technology was key to achieving the higher rate," Loftis said in a statement.
Boeing has now tripled its production within the last year at its manufacturing facilities in Everett, Wash., and North Charleston, S.C. the press release reported. This involved making five airplanes a months in Nov. 2012, and seven a month in May.
Boeing has distributed 115,787 jets to 16 customers the press release reported. The company will fulfill 1,030 orders from 60 consumers throughout the world.
Aeromexico is adding a fourth aircraft to its current fleet of three the press release reported. The airline will fly the airplane on travels from Mexic City to London's Heathrow Airport the press release reported.

The Boeing 787's main structure is made up of 50 percent of composite materials the website said. This includes the fuselage or main tube, and wing. Because of this layout, the plane can use 20 percent less fuel and gives off 20 percent less carbon dioxide fumes than aircrafts of similar sizes.
The plane flew from Singapore Oct. 18 . Service to London's Heathrow Airport through Dubai began in December according to Airlines and Destinations.
More Boeing 787's will be delivered in order to come through on its promise of having the aircraft available for all of its "long-haul" flights by this year's second fiscal quarter.
