Pizza Hut Goes 'Authentic' Pizza Route Amid Customers Wishes for Freshly Made Pizza

Pizza Hut is adding air bubbles, and shredded cheese to make its pies look more old-fashioned, and freshly made the Associated Press reported Wednesday.

Pizza Hut will introduce a new pizza made by hand that is less dense, and slabbed with garlic butter seasoning the AP reported. Employees will not roll pizza dough in order to keep the air pockets in the batter when the pizza hits locations the AP reported.

"What we want to highlight is that these really are handcrafted," Carrie Walsh, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut told The AP "We're encouraging them to make sure they make each pizza one of a kind," Walsh told the AP.

Domino's Pizza has instructed employees about how to use their strengths when making the company's infamous artisan pizzas the AP reported.

McDonald's uses egg whites for their breakfast sandwiches cooked via griddle creating a floppier appearances the AP reported. The company previously used egg ingredients in the shape of a patty.

Kraft Foods is now cutting its turkey into deli-type slices through a company-made machine the AP reported.

Customers have come to want food made to order rather than fast food and manufactured products the AP reported.

Pizza Hut also announced Tuesday that customers can start buying individual pizza slices in an attempt to revamp its business models and attract younger customers the AP reported Monday.

The first two locations in York, Neb., and Pawtucket, R.I., will have new ovens to cook the slices, and array of other more commonplace ovens to bake other pizza the AP reported.

Pizza Hut and Chipotle have geared themselves toward making food when customers order it the AP reported.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is also adding pizza to its mix with a new initiative called Pizzeria Locale the AP reported.

The franchise restaurant chain is also looking to expand throughout the Denver area with two or more places.
