Tom Cruise is probably the most famous member of the Church of Scientology, but there were reports that he's about to give up the organization for Suri Cruise.
"He's between a rock and a hard place, but he's finally making a choice to put his daughter first," an insider told Star Magazine.
The 53-year-old actor rarely sees his child from Katie Holmes that's why he wanted to make up for the lost times. However, news emerged last month that the Hollywood superstar is moving to Florida so he could get closer to the headquarters of the Church.
"Fellow believer John Travolta loves his life there and inspired Tom," an insider told Us Weekly. "He was ready to go."
It seems that Tom Cruise won't ever give up Scientology for Suri Cruise especially now that he has been promoted in the organization.
"Tom will become the new grand poobah for the Church of Scientology, right alongside David Miscavige," a source told the National Enquirer via Starpulse.
"It's all very hush-hush at this point, but Tom will essentially share the same rank as David, whose official title is Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center. [RTC is] the corporation that controls the trademarks and copyrights of Dianetics and Scientology."
Apart from being a co-chairman, the "Mission Impossible 5" star will also become the new Operating Thetan IX or also called OT IX.
"Thetans, in Scientology doctrine, are the alien life forms that inhabit human beings," the insider explained.
"Tom will be bumped up alongside Miscavige to OT IX and, ultimately, one day become OT X! This is a super-secret level that will give Tom immortality, and automatically add 60 years to his lifespan!" In celebration of the actor's new promotion, he will be flying into space with a few friends.
"The church reportedly plans on sending Cruise on the first Virgin Galactic space flight, valued at $250,000," a source said. "Stars including Ashton Kutcher, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Russell Brand, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Lance Bass and Justin Bieber have already signed on to take the trip."
Getting perks like that from the Church of Scientology may have helped Tom Cruise decide what he really wanted in his life - and that most probably does not include his daughter Suri Cruise.
