Tom Cruise is reportedly worried that the former Scientology member Leah Remini would expose his relationship with the church and his ex-wives including Katie Holmes in her new book called "Troublemaker."
However, he never expected that the mother of his daughter Suri would take part in the whole shenanigan.
ABC News correspondent Dan Harris recently interviewed Remini and shared some spoilers for 20/20.
"You're also going to hear from Katie Holmes, the former wife of Tom Cruise," Harris teased. "[And] what she is now saying about Leah."
Unfortunately, the actress' rep revealed that the former "Dawson's Creek" star won't be appearing in the show.
"In response to an email sent from the producers or fact-checkers from 20/20 asking a plethora of questions, we supplied no answers and instead gave only a one-sentence statement in response," Holmes publicist told People.
"I regret having upset Leah in the past, and wish her only the best in the future," the actress said in a statement. Instead of being grateful to Katie Holmes for not taking part in Leah Remini's expose on Scientology, Tom Cruise was allegedly furious over her public apology.
"It speaks volumes," an insider told In Touch via Radar Online. "That one sentence makes it clear how regretful and remorseful Katie feels about her time with Tom and Scientology." According to their source, the 36-year-old actress is getting back at her ex-husband.
"This is the most aggressive she's been since she blindsided him with divorce papers three years ago. She's humiliating Tom again," their source said. "Tom is furious with Katie because he knows, and the church knows, that she has a nondisclosure agreement," the insider added.
Since the brunette beauty is not allowed to spill out any secrets, then that may have forced her not to take part in Leah's expose on Scientology. Katie Holmes even dissed the 45-year-old actress as she shared her experience with her when she was still with Tom Cruise.
"I was dismayed at the behavior of Leah Remini during the events leading up to our wedding and our wedding," she wrote. "The behavior as a guest, a friend, was very upsetting."
