A few smartphones will be available for a hefty discount TMO News reported Wednesday.
"The limited-time $0 down promotion is available for well-qualified customers from Friday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 1 at participating T-Mobile retail stores," TMO Newssaid in a statement. "Customers can get iPhone 5s in the 16GB model for $0 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $27.00, with a no annual service contract Simple Choice Plan. Customers can get iPhone 5c in the 16GB model for $0 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $22.91. Well-qualified customers can get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy S4 for $0 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $29.50 and $25.00, respectively, with a no annual service contract Simple Choice Plan.
The offer also includes the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy S4. This will be available for $0 on Cyber Monday on the company's website.
"Instead of saving money overall - as suspected - the discount is then covered by raising the monthly payments. Instead of paying the $20.38 per month on the 5s and 5c, you'll pay $27 and $22.91 per month on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c respectively. All-in-all, you'll save your self a handsome $0.07 on the iPhone 5c over the 24-month EIP. On the iPhone 5s, the saving over 2 years is $1.91. On the plus side, you do save money up front, even if the long-term cost is exactly the same."
Apple added both devices to their slate of phones last month, and were initally concerned the iPhone 5C will damage product sales, and overflow margins.
The iPhone 5C was originally $100 less expensive than the premium 5S with an initial price at $649 for the 16 gigabyte model.
Thirty-three million to 36 million new iPhones during the fourth fiscal quarter also known as the holiday quarter, are expected to be sold, in a projection that could top 50 million. Apple sales for the iPhone 5S have already gone up in the current fourth quarter.
