To maintain its commitment to please customers, Papa Johns has a new chipotle chicken and bacon pizza available throughout the country the company in a press release Monday.
"Customers have high expectations for Papa John's after ranking us #1 in customer happiness 12 out of the last 14 years," Bob Kraut, Papa John's chief marketing officer said in a statement. "The new Chipotle Chicken and Bacon pizza is an outstanding product that definitely delivers on those expectations."
The new product is Papa John's latest creation for the holiday season, and is equipped with sliced chicken poppers, smoky bacon, fresh-sliced Roma tomatoes, and grated cheese, all for $11 until Dec. 29. Customers can buy a double bacon six cheese pizza with the large cookie at any Papa John's location, online on the company's website, or via the Papa John mobile ordering app compatible with iPhone, and Android devices. Customers can also get an eight inch mega chocolate chip cookie for $5.
The cookie is also available with the company's double bacon six cheese pizza, which was released in November 2010.
"Our newest pizza creation definitely answers the call for anyone looking to 'bring home the bacon' Thanksgiving Eve and throughout the holiday season," former Papa John's Chief Marketing Officer, Andrew Varga said in a statement.
"We think this is the perfect time to introduce a new bacon pizza. Year after year, we see a huge spike in pizza sales the day before Thanksgiving. Add to that the hundreds of bacon fan pages, dedicated blogs, its pervasiveness in pop culture and the fact that it is one of our top selling ingredients, it is clear that consumers have an enormous appetite and affinity for bacon."
Varga joined Papa John's advertising agency, Zimmerman Advertising in March according to Nation's Restaurant News. The firm is based in Florida.
