Apple's latest iOS 7.0.4 operating system no longer has the issue consumers found when FaceTiming MacRumors help forums reported Thursday.
"Bug fixes and improvements, including a fix for an issue that causes FaceTime calls to fail for some users. For information on the security content of this update, please visit this website: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT1222," the update reads according to MacRumors.
The update is compatible with Apple's iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. The iOS 6.1.5 has also been released for the company's fourth generation iPod Touch resolving the exact issue.
Apple's news is the latest development since its iOS 7.0.3, and iOS 7.0.4 were unveiled. The 7.0.3 has features for its iCloud Keychain or tool users can utilize to put and maintain files on their Mac computer, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch according to Mashable. The company also corrected issues with accelerometers or tools used for measuring vibrations in devices.
The company has kept busy with resolving glitches and other issues in their operating systems. These began with a messaging application in their iOS 7 where messages were not being sent or received USA Today reported.
"We are aware of an issue that affects a fraction of a percent of our iMessage users, and we will have a fix available in an upcoming software update," the company told USA Today. "In the meantime, we encourage any users having problems to reference our troubleshooting documents or contact AppleCare to help resolve their issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes impacted users."
According to USA Today, the iMessage program generally allows users to send texts over Wi-Fi. Users can also text from phone to phone, phone to iPad, and ipod, along with a Mac computer. The messaging issue also stems from the company's previous update to its iOS 7.0.2 system, which was released to prevent anyone from accessing phones by bypassing an iPhone's lockscreen without a passcode The Washington Post reported.
