Target has joined the slate of stores opening earlier than Black Friday this holiday shopping season a press release reported Monday.
The company will open its stores at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, and hold its Black Friday sale until Nov. 30.
"For both our guests and team members, Black Friday is an exciting event that officially marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season. By offering advance access to deals at Target.com and opening our stores earlier, we are making it easier for guests to build a Black Friday ritual that works for them," Kathee Tesija, executive vice president, Merchandising and Supply Chain, Target said in a statement. "No matter where or when they choose to shop at Target, guests will be able to kick off their holiday shopping with deep discounts on a wide variety of the season's most popular items."
Target will have doorbuster deals such as a 16 gigabyte iPad Mini with Wi-fi, for $299 and a $75 Target Giftcard with the order, a 16 gigabyte iPad Air with Wi-Fi for $479 and $100 Giftcard, an Element 50 inch 1080p LED television for $229.00, $179.99 Beats by Dre Solo HD Headphones for $119.00, a $229.99 Nikon L320 Camera for $99.99, a $199.99 Nintendo 3DS XL game system for $149.99, $179.99 Ride On bikes such as the Kid Trax Viper for $99.99, a variety of DVD's for $4.00, and $6.00, a $399.99 Dyson DC24 vacuum for $259.00, $67.00 six inch pre-lit artificial trees in clear or multi-colors for $30.00, men's and women's night clothes for $5.00, and buy one get one 50 percent off on a variety of toys such as toys, Monster High, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Lalaloopsy toys, and Our Generation dolls.
Consumers can also take advantage of Target's 15 daily deals available on their website for a couple weeks beginning Nov. 24.
