Fans freaked out when they found out that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are reuniting - but only for a new song.
According to E! Online, the unexpected track from the 21-year-old singer appeared on OVO Sound Radio on a Saturday evening. Titled "Strong," the single featured his ex-girlfriend and the website described it as a stripped-down duet.
However, the former lovers' reunion may only be musically and not personally. During an interview with Refinery29 via ABC News, the 23-year-old songstress confessed how much their breakup affected her.
"Of course I got my heart broken," she admitted.
"Of course I was pissed about it. There, everybody has it. I was so disappointed, because I never wanted my career to be a tabloid story," the brunette beauty added. Despite the heartaches, it seems that Selena Gomez has finally moved on from Justin Bieber.
"At this point, there is no anger," she said. "There's closure in a very good, healthy way. We've seen each other. I'm always encouraging and I am proud of his journey. I think people are making it out to be something that is more tragic than it really was. We grew up together. We both made mistakes. That's it," the singer added.
Instead of dating another guy, Selena decided to surround herself with good friends including Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston. "I'd rather be around women than men. I think they are interesting, complicated, and beautiful," she said.
Justin, on the other hand, has found comfort in women despite claiming that he's still single.
"I'm a relationship type of guy," he told the host of an Australian radio show. "I love to be in love, and I love cuddling. I love all that stuff, but I got my heartbroken, so I'm just trying to let that heal up."
That was a month ago, but it seems that he has healed his heart as he was spotted on a romantic getaway with Jayde Pierce.
The Canadian artist was even caught naked in Bora Bora with his new girlfriend. The nude photos leaked online and he was pissed about it.
"My first thing was like...how can they do this?" Justin told Access Hollywood. "Like, I feel super violated. Like, I feel like I can't step outside and feel like I can go outside naked. Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space...especially that far away."
