Jelena fans were thrilled when Selena Gomez hinted that there's still a chance that she'll reunite with her Justin Bieber.
During an interview with Elle, the 23-year-old singer was asked if she will ever get back together with her ex-boyfriend.
"I don't know!" she replied laughing and revealed that they are now good friends.
"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that.... We grew up together. I think people want it to be different," she explained. "We're too young for that. Nobody was married. There was no.... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner."
While Selena Gomez opened up about her feelings for Justin Bieber, the 21-year-old musician revealed that he learned a lot from their relationship.
"I moved in with my girlfriend when I was 18. Started my own life with her. It was a marriage kind of thing," he told Complex via Us Weekly.
"Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age. But we were so in love. Nothing else mattered." The Canadian pop star also revealed that they are about each other and that wasn't a good thing. "When it's like that and you get your value from that, people will always disappoint you," he said.
"Your full identity can't be in that person. My identity was in her. Her identity was in me," the recording artist explained. "When stuff would happen, I would lose my freakin' mind, and she would lose her mind, and we would fight so hard because we were so invested in each other."
The "What Do You Mean" hitmaker had realized that he can't lean on anyone else except God. Justin Bieber was spotted hanging out with Selena Gomez and other churchgoers back in May. That started out rumors that the two are dating again.
Both denied the rumors and claimed that they are still single. However, the controversial singer just hinted that he has a new girlfriend.
"I'm kind of seeing this girl, right?" he told the magazine. "I'm shy about doing or saying certain things, and then I say it and it's not even a problem. And I'll remember when I couldn't."
Justin Bieber seems to have been traumatized dating Selena Gomez.
"You're just scarred and you don't do something because in your last relationship they'd freak out, but [the new person is] just like, 'What are you talking about?'"
The former YouTube sensation may have finally found a new girl who won't judge him for his actions.
