Tom Cruise became one of the most controversial actors in Hollywood because of his connection with the Church of Scientology.
There were reports that the organization has been manipulating the 53-year-old actor. They even orchestrated his divorce from Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.
Apart from meddling with Tom's relationship with his ex-wives, the church reportedly prohibited the actor from seeing his daughter Suri Cruise.
Despite that warning, the star of "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" met up with his little girl a few months ago and Katie Holmes was there to witness the reunion of the father and daughter.
"Suri was so excited," a source told Star Magazine. "It was emotional for both of them. [Tom] has overcome seeing Suri again. He knows he could miss seeing her grow up if he's not careful," the insider added. Tom Cruise may have realized something during their meet-up that's why he has reportedly decided to ditch Scientology for his 9-year-old daughter.
However, that may not be happening anymore. Based on new reports, Tom Cruise will be leaving Los Angeles and is ready to move to Florida.
"Tom hates living in L.A. and is relocating to Florida," a source revealed to Us Weekly. "He thinks all the people in Hollywood are fake."
But he may have another motive aside from not being comfortable around the people in L.A. According to the website, the "Top Gun 2" actor has listed his mansion in Beverly Hills for $59 million so he can get closer to the Scientology headquarters located in Clearwater, Florida.
Fellow believer John Travolta loves his life there and inspired Tom," their source said. "He was ready to go."
The screen heartthrob's relocation to Florida could prove how much loyal he is to the organization. This could also mean that he may give up Suri Cruise for Scientology, but Katie Holmes will not allow him to get away with his responsibility. The actress is reportedly ready to go to court to demand more money for child support.
