John Coletta is Einstein Noah Restaurant Group's new chief financial officer.
Coletta will take over the position for Einstein's current chief operations officer Manny Hilario Oct. 21, a company press release on Restaurant News reported.
"We are pleased to welcome John, a great addition to the Einstein Noah team," Einstein president and chief executive officer Jeff O'Neill said in a statement. "Throughout his extensive career, he has demonstrated great ability in leading finance teams at both private and public companies across a number of different industries, while making impressive contributions along the way.
"As we continue to aggressively grow our concept nationwide, we are grateful to be strengthening our management team with such an experienced finance and restaurant leader, and look forward to his contributions," he said.
Coletta brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, strategy, and executive management in restaurants, hospitality, retail, and development. Coletta has vast experience in managing supply chains, optimizing how cash is managed, upgrading how supplies are processed, figuring out how to improve how food tastes, costs, and is distributed.
He has previously been Real Goods Solar's chief financial officer, chief financial officer and president at Cartridge World and chief financial officer and chief administrative officer at Rock Bottom Restaurants the press release reported.
Prior to the food business, Coletta began his career in the audit and business advisory division of Arthur Andersen LLP. School wise, he earned a bachelor of science in accounting from Loyola Marymount University. Einstein's has 800 restaurants in 40 states and the District of Columbia according to information on the company's website.
The company is also a top bagel provider in the restaurant industry, and is focusing more on offering food that is fast, but does not taste like typical fast food items.
