As part of its grand opening, three new Chicagoland Wingstop locations will offer free made-to-order chicken wings Saturday according to a press release on the company's website.

"We're very excited about opening up these new locations," Wingstop opening director Kent Chapin said. "The fans in Chicagoland have welcomed us with open arms, and offering free wings is our way to commemorate the grand openings, and thank our guests."

The company opened three restaurants in Chicago this summer, one of which included its 25th franchise location in the area. From 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, guests will be able to take advantage of the companies "Take 5" offer where participating customers can receive five free classic or boneless wings "sauced and tossed" in their choice of any one of the company's signature flavors.

The free wings are available while supplies last at the new locations. These include 1472 Ellinwood Dr. in Des Plaines, Ill., 720 S. Illinois Route 83 in Mundelein, Ill., and 3059 N. Pulaski Rd. in Northwest Chicago. Customers do not have to purchase anything to receive the offer.

"Chicagoans know wings, and they know sports," Chapin said. "We're proud to be part of this great Chicago tradition and invite fans to join us at these three new locations and enjoy wings on the house while watching your favorite teams.

Wings are available in 10 strong flavors including original hot, cajun, atomic, mild, teriyaki, lemon pepper, Hawaiian, and garlic parmesan.

The franchise restaurant chain has over 580 restaurants throughout the United States and Mexico, 29 of which are in the state of Illinois. 27 of these are in the Chicago area with five more expected in the next six months.

Wingstop is headquartered in Richardson, Texas, and owned by private Atlanta, Ga. based equity firm Roark Capital Group.
