Zaxby's Franchising has opened its eighth North Carolina restaurant in Wake Forest according to restaurantnews.com.
"We've always wanted to bring a Zaxby's to Wake Forest," Licensees Thomas Little told Restaurant News. "Zaxby's has built its reputation and loyal following by providing excellent service and great-tasting food, and we plan to carry on that tradition with this new, convenient location.
"We've assembled a great group of team members who will deliver on the Zaxby's mission to 'consistently create encore experiences that enrich lives one person at a time,'" he said.
According to Restaurant News, the 3,850 square-foot location has a maximum seating capacity of 90 people, and is at 995 Durham Road near the Target Restaurant. The new restaurant is set to open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Restaurant News reported.
The building has modern tables and booths for people to sit in and eat along with various photography pieces placed on its walls Restaurant News reported. A drive-thru is also available for customers. The new location is the eighth in Wake County, and the 66th for North Carolina Restaurants News reported.
Zaxby's has over 580 restaurants in 13 states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
According to Restaurant News, the chain offers chicken fingers, sandwiches, salads and traditional or boneless wings with mild to hot sauces such as Wimpy, Nuclear and Insane, and Tongue Torch. There are also appetizers, also called Zappetizers such as tater chips, spicy fried mushrooms, fried white cheddar bites, and party platterz for gatherings and special occassions. For dessert, birthday cake, banana pudding, and chocolate cookie milkshakes are available.
