Johnny Depp has been filming "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" in Australia for several months already, but Disney allegedly got the help of Orlando Bloom.
This decision made the Hollywood superstar unhappy because that means he would have to share the spotlight with "The Lord of the Rings" star.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the 52-year-old actor and the 38-year-old British heartthrob hate each other with passion.
"They can't stand each other," an insider told OK! Magazine. "Johnny is so angry that Orlando was brought in to save the franchise."
The two screen heartthrobs have worked together in the previous "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, but not many people know that they are not fond of each other.
According to the magazine, Bloom was paid $5 million for the project and he has been telling everyone that he's the real star of the movie - and that allegedly pissed off Depp even more.
There were reports that Johnny has been causing delay to the filming of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5."
According to The Inquisitr, the film was originally scheduled for release this summer, but they had to move in 2017 because of the actor's personal issues including his hand injury, marital problems with wife Amber Heard, and the dog smuggling case.
In fact, with everything that's going on in Johnny Depp, the fifth installment could be his last movie with the film franchise.
The website reported that the "Black Mass" actor is on thin ice with the cast and crew of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales."
With Orlando Bloom on board, the producers are hoping to get some positive reviews about the fifth installment plus he would surely attract more female viewers. Almost a decade ago, Miranda Kerr's estranged husband has nothing but good things to say about his co-star.
"He's a role model for me. He has integrity and makes choices that are brave and unusual," the English actor told In Touch. "He doesn't have hissy fits; he conducts himself with grace and humility." Orlando Bloom also revealed the lesson he has learned from Johnny Depp.
"Johnny's always telling me, 'Don't go for the money. Follow your heart, Orlando!' He offers me the sort of wisdom that he's acquired by working in the business for decades now," he said.
With a $5 million contract, it seems that money do make a difference now for the actor.
