Krispy Kreme rolled out some new flavors in a bid to entice more customers to sample its sweet offerings. The brand has introduced Caramel and Chocolate Shop treats featuring caramel, chocolate and salted pretzels.
"Chocolate and caramel have never tasted more decadent than in these three delectable new doughnuts," said Ron Rupocinski, corporate chef for Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation. "Our caramel and chocolate shop varieties are sweet, savory, indulgent, playful and simply irresistible."
The new offerings include:
- New Caramel Chocolate Chip Cake, Caramel Chocolate Pretzel and Dark Chocolate Caramel Kreme doughnuts are available through Sept. 1 at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. and Canadian locations.
- Caramel Chocolate Chip Cake features chocolate cake doughnut made with premium cocoa, topped with caramel icing and topped with Ghirardelli chocolate chips.
- Caramel Chocolate Pretzel is filled with chocolate Kreme blended with premium chocolate sauce, topped with caramel icing, salted pretzels and a caramel drizzle.
- Dark Chocolate Caramel Kreme is filled with smooth Kreme and premium caramel sauce, topped with a dark chocolate icing and a caramel icing twirl.
The doughnuts will be available through Sept. 1. The suggested retail price is $1.09 each or $7.29 a dozen. Visit www.krispykreme.com for a location near you.
